What Kind of Fuel are You Using?

Thursday, August 26th, 2010

I just returning from Mo-Town, if I didn’t know better I
would have thought I was back in the Sixties, or the
Seventies.

I couldn’t have been in Detroit at a better time; the city
was filled with energy more than I’ve seen in years.
People were everywhere! The restaurants were full and
getting parking was nearly impossible.

The annual “Dream Cruise” was going on, there were
millions of people on the streets. You are probably
wondering what kind of cruise could possibly be
happening in Detroit?
A boat ride up and down the Detroit River, or maybe
something to do with the Great Lakes?

No, none of those.

It was the 15th annual Woodward Dream Cruise.
The “Dream Cruise” is an annual event where 40,000 classic
cars from around the globe converge on the “Motor City”
and cruise up and down the main thoroughfare
“Woodward Avenue, America’s first highway.

Although the event is officially only one day, the entire
weekend was filled with cool muscle cars and hotrods
on all the main streets.

It was really the “Motor City.”

I got right into it the festivities; the slick super cars
were really spectacular.
Hot rods with flames shooting out of the rear ends,
muscle cars, custom Corvettes,Lamborghinis,
old motel-Ts,over sized trucks that you needed a
ladder to get into the cab, and even the Bat Mobile was
cursing the streets.
This was the crème de la crème of cool cars.

You could imagine the amount of work that people
put into their rides. Thousands of dollars, maybe
hundreds of thousands are pored into thosecars, and
hundreds of hours of work.

Do you think that if you owned a car worth a few
hundred grand that you would put the cheapest gas
and oil in it?

I don’t think you would, I wouldn’t.

I’d look for the best fuel I could get my hands on and
the best motor oil I could find.
I want my ride to last
as long as it could and run smooooth.

When I lived in Detroit, I would hear expressions like

“That’s a clear ride.”

Meaning your car is in the best shape, it looks really
good and it’s top of the line. It didn’t make a difference
if it was a 59 Chevy, a Porch or a custom hot rod.
As long as it was taken care to the optimum it was
considered

“A Clean Ride.”

People put more time, energy and money into their cars
and trucks than they do to their own bodies.

While I was cruising around in my automobile, I couldn’t
help but notice how much extra weight people were
carrying around on their front and back ends.

The junk food stand had long lines that didn’t seem to end.
People were chowing down on the worst fuel they could
possibly run their systems on.
 Sugar and Grease.

I am a physician who spends a great deal of time studying
holistic healing as well as western medicine and let me tell
you, if you are eating a bad diet you will have health
problems sooner or later.

I was wondering what people were thinking.
I asked my friend who is also a holistic doctor and
healer and he said,

“The’re not.”

Most people don’t have a clue that food can be their
medicine or their poison.
They don’t exercise and if they do, they are doing the
wrong kind of exercise and are suffering with health
problems.

If you’re sick of being normal, and want to be out of
the norm, avoid what normal people get.

Older, Weaker and Sick

You can take control and change that, step out of
the norm and start making the changes now.

No matter what your age

No matter what your lifestyle

No matter what kind of shape you are currently in

No matter how you’ve been injured or what ailments
you have

And no matter what you’ve been told in the past

You can always increase the flow of Qi and become healthy,
stronger and younger.

I can show you how to increase the flow of Qi until it courses
through you like a mighty river.

The best treatment of all is the Prescriptive Qi Gong Exercises
I teach called,
“The Recharging Qi Gong”.

These exercises literally heal and strengthen you from the
inside out.

Check it out to day. You will be glad you did.

Feeling single, Seeing double

Friday, July 30th, 2010

It was some time ago when country singer George Jones
wrote these words
“Well I really had a ball last night
I held all the pretty girls tight
I was feeling single, seeing double
I wound up in a whole lot of trouble
and today I’ll face the big fight
but I really had a ball last night “.

– What were you thinking?
Your body doesn’t rebound that well anymore,
if it ever did.

I got a call Sunday morning from Ronald;
I had no idea that it was him at first as
I only heard groans when I picked up.
He is a friend who was at the wedding
last weekend and apparently couldn’t
hold his liquor very well,
but he was having fun or at least he
thought he was.
He started drinking before the ceremony
even started and by 10:00 he was lit-up
like a fire cracker on the 4th of July
and out-cold by 11.

Too bad the dude missed a great celebration.

When he called me he said,
“My head is throbbing,
I am shaking and I feel like
I’m in a deep fog.
Dr.Wu Dhi, my mouth feels like the desert
floor and to top things off,
my insides feel like they’ve been put
through the ringer.
Is there anything I can do to feel like
a human again?”

Ron, with every gulp of booze you drank
last night, you sucked your body bone dry.
You’re now in a state of Dehydration and
that leads to all kinds of health problems,
keep it up and you’ll be ageing yourself like

“Greased lighting”

Your aching head is just a symptom
of no moisture in your body.
Alcohol breaking down the body,
dumps electrolytes and uses up all your
reserve stores.
You must hydrate to get rid of that woozy
feeling.

Drink as much water as you can, start taking
vitamin B and come into the office to get a
B-12 injection that will help pull you back
together.

Alcohol blocks the body’s absorption of vitamins
B6 & B12.
“It flushes all the good stuff out of your system.”

A dose of multi-vitamin will help get your body
back into balance.

I had a few drinks myself that night but made
sure that I drank 2 eight ounce glasses of water;
and took a handful of vitamins and walked
as soon as I got home, then I did the Recharging Qi
Gong exercises. www.Rechargingqigong.com
It took me less than an hour to pull myself
together and when I woke up in the morning
I felt Great.

I Wish you the best in your Health Wealth and Happiness

now is the time to make those changes
and keep yourself healthy and stay young.

has been working for hundreds of people.

knowing when to act and when not to act=

Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010

It was less than a week ago when I received
this letter from a friend and mentor.
Here is what he said.
“All I want to do when I’m finished is stare at
The walls or look out the windows. Not moving.
Not doing anything.
Just looking, taking it in … and breathing.
Sit and stare straight ahead for long periods
of time …
Just sitting. Looking straight ahead.Breathing.
Doing nothing.”

It may sound like he is depressed, on drugs or
just spaced out,
But he is actually in a very high meditative
place of being. The Taoists call that state
of aware “Wu Wei”

“An action that does not involve struggle or
excessive effort”.
The concept of “effortless action” like
Qi Gong and the Internal Martial Arts.

“Wu” can be translated as without.
A better way to think of it is as a paradoxical

“The Action of non-action.”

Non doing is “what we mean by going with the
grain,rolling with the punch…”
- Alan Watts, The Watercourse Way

In China I was given the name of “Wu Di”
but when I returned to the homeland,
my spiritual master changed it from Di to Dhi.

Dr.Wu Dhi literally means,

“One who has no Enemies.”

The word “Dhi” is taken from the mantra (prayer)
to the deity that Manjushri, the Buddhist god who
stands for wisdom and knowledge, for the most
part the knowledge of linguistics and grammar.

God knows I need that.

Wu Wei means “Without action, action without action,

Effortless doing”.

The aim of Wu Wei is to achieve a state of perfect
equilibrium,or alignment with the Tao and,
as a result, obtain an irresistible form of
“soft and invisible” power.

One way to accomplish this state is to practice
the internal exercises like, Qi Gong, Nei Gong
and Shen Gong.

Students that come to me seek that stillness of
mind and internal power.

The Most Powerful day of the Year

Monday, June 21st, 2010

Today is the summer Solstice the longest day of the year
filled with abundant energy and lots of sunshine.
It’s in the nineties in South Florida that’s why
I start my training at 5:30 in the morning.
It’s still cool and there was a nice breeze
coming off the ocean. Summer is about growth,
creativity, expansion and staying active.
This is a time when our bodies go through
maximum activities, so expect lots of heat
inside and out. To stay healthy this summer,
keep your priorities in maintaining your heart,
mind and spirit in top shape, which are all part
of the fire element.

If the heart is in harmony, the taste buds in our
tongue works efficiently. It’s important to have
tongue cleaning as part of your hygiene regiment,
if you aren’t doing tongue scraping start today.

You may be asking your self what’s

The Purpose of Tongue Cleaning
By removing the soft plaque from the tongue you are
removing most of the bacteria and other garbage
that are the primary source of bad breath,
hard plaque (tartar) and tooth decay.
You can pick up a tongue scraper at the health
food store or a spoon will work just fine.

 “The supernatural forces of summer
create heat in the Heavens
and  fire on Earth;
they create the heart
and the pulse within the body…
the red color, the tongue,
and the ability to express laughter…
they create the bitter flavor,
and the emotions of
happiness and joy”.

-THE YELLOW EMPEROR’S CLASSIC OF INTERNAL MEDICINE
June 21st. is when the sun reaches its highest point,
the day with the greatest number of daylight hours
and the shortest night of the year. Soon after,
 the days will get shorter.

In Chinese medicine, summer is associated with
the Fire element and with heat.
The heart is the fire element of the body and
if there is too much heat in the heart,
the heat will rise and eventually disrupt the mind.
To have a balanced mind, do more Yin type exercises
like the Qi Gong Yin Set found in the back of the
book of the Recharging Qi Gong Program

http://www.rechargingqigong.com/recharging-qi-gong.html

and the Healing Sounds, they will keep you cool all summer
and benefit the heart

When the change of the season happens, especially during
the winter and summer solstice, is an opportunity to reset
your internal clock. The summer solstice is called the
Midsummer because it’s around the middle of the growing season,
a period of abundant growth. So wake early and seek the
sun for nourishment to thrive just as the plants and trees do.

This is the perfect time to a detox program
http://www.energymedicineflorida.com/detox-kit.html
I’m staying quiet busy these days, working writing and
training every day early morning.
If you’re in Florida join me on the beach 6:30 am on 95
and Collins on the beach.
I will also be conducting Meditation classes every Wednesday
at 7pm, at the Whole Life Health and Wellness in Aventura.
I invite you to join me. You can call for details 786-271-0325

Full Moon Shamanic
”Fire Ceremony”

Sunday, June 6th, 2010

The Moon was full; it was around dusk when I met up with the thirty people who gathered in the traditional healing circle in the park. The Ecuadorian Shamanic
”Fire Ceremony was about to begun.

I have been to many of these events through out the years, but this was a first in Florida for me and the first

with a shaman from South America

I know the importance of Fire Ceremonies and no matter what tradition they come from they open a new

path way for my growth.  The purpose of this ceremony was to let go of old belief structures.

The Shaman blessed the space and welcomed in the Spirit of the sky, earth and the four directions.

We circled the fire and everyone there was getting ready for something  to happen, which would hopefully change his or her life for the better.

The Tibetan Lamas, Daoism Priests and Shamans that I studied with all use fire rituals of some kind.

In fact most native peoples, as well as the Taoist and Buddhist shamans invoke  the Fire element in there secrete rituals.

This  Fire Ceremony was no exception, the Shaman  invoke the four directions, ancestors,

the Earth energies, the universe and the spirit of the fire. This ceremony offers a cleansing of energy

field and patterns of long pending issues.

The goal is re-connecting with our true nature of pure heart-centered consciousness, each one of us  received a shamanic cleansing. This ancient ceremony promoted healing on all levels.

When  coming to the fire circle it is customary to create an offering out of a small stick. Using my breath,

blow this intention or prayer into the offering several times.

One additional offering is then placed in the fire for the Mother Earth.

Each person in the circle will blow their prayers for the planet into the offering

before it is placed into the fire.”

The four main  ritual that use  fire offerings in the Tibetan system called fire puja :

1.The Peaceful harmonizing  Fire  it  to pacify the results of the three poisons, (worry , struggle and blame) ,

or to clear away obstacles and defilements. It may also be done to avoid  difficulties and illnesses.

2.  Increasing Ritual Fire Offerings can be performed for both one’s own and other’s benefit.

To increase wealth health and happiness

3. A decrease fire can be performed to get ride of obstacles on the path or even pests like rodents,

bugs or snakes. Also  to subdue forces that is harming other sentient beings.

4. A Strong and forceful  puji fire  are performed against harmful forces. In Tibet rituals these were used

to dispel or subdue local disturbances,

All rituals no matter what system or tradition  they come from involve keeping yourself centered and

grounded at all times. I have found that Qi Gong exercises are number one in keeping you grounded

centered and focused. That’s why I encourage all of my students who are interested in spiritual work,

marshal arts or healing to learn and practice internal exercises, like the ones offered in

BP oil spill Kills Sea Turtles

Sunday, June 6th, 2010

If you get up early in the morning and make it to the beach around
4:00 or 5:00 AM you may find a special treat.

Large 300 pound sea turtles are laying their eggs.

The big mama came in just before daybreak and spent about 30 minute
digging a hole, laying her eggs, covering them up and going back
into the sea.

The magnificent sea Turtles migrate thousands of miles,
but usually return to lay their eggs on the same beach where
 they hatched.

Sea turtles have existed for over one hundred million years

It can take 15 – 50 years before a sea turtle is capable of reproducing

Scientists estimate that only 1 in 1000 to 10,000 babies will survive
to adulthood

Sea turtles live their entire life in the ocean. The only time they come
ashore is when the female lays her eggs.

Sea turtles are reptiles. They breathe air and can hold their breath for long
 periods of time.

When its time to sleep, a loggerhead will wedge under a rock close to the
shore, or take a snooze while floating on the surface of deep water

Hatchlings weigh less than one ounce and are only two inches long.
Adults can grow over 3 feet long and weigh 200 to 300 pounds!

The nest temperature during incubation determines a sea turtle’s sex.
Boys like it cool – Girls like it hot.

Sea turtles have great underwater vision, but are nearsighted out of the water.
Although sea turtles do not have external ears, they are capable of hearing
low frequency sounds and vibrations

Sea turtles use their strong jaws to crush a diet of crabs, shrimp, mussels,
and jelly fish.

This is to sad
I was talking to the park service lady who I call the “Turtle Lady.”
She said they lost over 200 turtles this year in shrimp nets on the
Gulf as the Shrimp boats crews were in a rush to get the shrimp in before the
oil spill destroys them and the turtles drowned in the nets  they are air breathers.
“This oil spill is really a mess.”

The eggs will take about 3 months to mature and the little ones will scurry
 back to the sea.

One of the advantages of doing my training before the sun rises is that everything is

Really  Still

and you get to see wonderful things in nature that most of us miss as we get
those last minute Zzzzzzzz’s.

If you’re ready to build a body of steel, increase your internal power and align
yourself with the sprits of nature join me June 12th
for a one day intensive  in Miami for the

Recharging Qi Gong  workshop call 786-271-0325 to register.

Can Qi Gong Cure Cancer?

Monday, May 31st, 2010

Rebecca Ayre, the president of Insulin Potentiation Therapy (IPT), invited me to be a guest speaker at this year’s conference. I was more than happy to share all I could with the group.

The topics covered all the current trends in Integrative Cancer Care. It was designed to empower people with practical knowledge that will directly benefit those facing a diagnosis of cancer and patients who are looking for options and choices in creating their recovery from cancer. The conference was a unique opportunity to learn of the best therapies, techniques and approaches that Integrative Cancer Care has to offer.

I really got  a ton of info to help my patients.

Their group was much more in alignment to my way of thinking.

When I treat a patient no matter whether they are looking for anti-aging treatments, recovering from a disease like cancer or any degenerative disease, I always work to balance the internal terrain.

If you had a garden in your backyard and the soil was very acid and had very little vitamins or minerals (clay and sand) in it, you wouldn’t expect to get much of a harvest. You could still grow something, but the plants would grow poorly and as far as getting any healthy fruits or vegetables your chances would be slim.

On the other hand, if your garden soil was alkaline had proper vitamins, minerals, air and water- your chances of getting a Bumper Harvest would be great. I have been growing organic gardens for years.

The key is the soil.

Of course it needs air, water, and sun light, but in poor soil it gets bugs, weeds and small unhealthy plants.

It’s the same in our body, if you eat junk food, don’t get clean air and water we will have a poor internal terrain and your health will reflect it.

Balance the terrain and the body will go towards health.

I was asked to share my knowledge of Energy medicine, Medical Qi Gong and Chinese Taoist internal exercises at this year’s conference as well as the importance of a proper internal terrain.

The doctors who attended were the top physicians, naturopaths, chiropractors and members of the general public, who gathered to share the best that Integrative Cancer Care has to offer.

They put together a truly memorable conference, and I look forward to participating as this community strengthens and grows.

Thank you all it was a great honor and privilege to share my knowledge with you.

I Wish you the Best in your Health , Wealth and happiness

Why Practice?

Thursday, May 27th, 2010

Jerold wrote  and asked me to explain to him what he can
expect from doing Qi Gong and internal exercises.
He said he did a weekend workshop and thought it was all some
Big Hype.
He said he felt that the instructor was more filled with himself and had no real Qi.

Jerold, some Qi Gong masters and teachers have the real goods and others have a good
intensions.
I don’t judge them but it takes more than a weekend to get the goods.

                                                                             “Keep on Practicing”

There two keys

 1. The teaching

2. Is the practice

If you don’t do both, It ’s like a bird who only has one wing. It doesn’t fly half the distance, he will just flop along the ground. You need both wings to fly.

I have been practicing for more than 30 years.
When I first learned Qi Gong, most of my friends and fellow students never really took
notice of of the practice.
The hard core Martial Arts people thought it was BS.

They looked at me like I was crazy – practicing so many hours a day and not showing any
outwardly visible skills.

Were they wrong.

I have no health problems, I look at least 10 to 15  years younger than my peers and I take no medicine.

Why? The key is the practice.

Every time I run into an old Martial arts person all they talk about is how much pain
they are in, their knee injuries, shoulder injuries and how beat up their hands
and feet are from breaking boards and bricks.

They really didn’t really get what internal exercises would have given them.
Twelve  important benifits for your health and longivity  that you can acheive  by practicing
The Recharging Qi Gong exercises.
