This morning I was walking with a few
friends down to the sea. The weather was just
perfect- around 65 degrees with no humidity
and fluffy white clouds in the sky. As I looked over
the ocean, I saw the beautiful morning sun peeking
its radiant head, I automatically went into a meditation
and started doing my internal Qi Gong practices.
My friends joined in and after a few minutes I could
sense that there was an incredible amount of energy
around me. I turned around and there was a group of
strangers that joined in. The energy was intense and I
could feel the Qi moving in all of my meridians as if I
were lit up like a Christmas tree. The practice went on
for about 45 minutes although it seemed like it was only
a few minutes. When I came out of the practice I could see the
entire group had a special glow around them.
I introduced myself and everyone had a slew of questions on
what just happened, what we just did and how he or she
could get more information and learn more about it.

This week I’ve been seeing more patients
than one could imagine with environmental
diseases, allergies, and hives. It seems to be
all stemming from the excess pollution in our
food, water, air and plastics. We are being
poisoned on a daily basis and our government
agencies aren’t doing anything to change it.
It seems to me that the old mighty dollar is
taking precedent over our health and well-being.
I had a patient just today who was violently
allergic to peanuts, sesame oil and all types of
nuts in general! Not only does she break out in hives,
her respiratory system closes down to the point where

Although, we have all heard of instances like this,
it seems like in today’s world, it’s happening more
often and to more people than one would ever imagine.
What can you do to protect yourself and your family?
It’s hidden everywhere!
In Rachel Carson’s book, The Silent Spring,
she warned us back in the 60’s that we were going
to have a big problem with pesticides, herbicides,
mercury, hydrocarbons, and more carcinogenic material.
Did we listen?
Heck NO!
Every day I see people with lung disease, cancer,
gulf war syndrome, birth defects, and chemical poisoning.
There is also the Sick building syndrome- that’s
when the building has so many pollutants in it,
poor ventilation, poor temperature control, and
pollution from outdoor sources, chemicals like
cleaning supplies, and copier machines. All of this
lowers our immune system and before we know
it we are sick as dogs!
Imagine that you have a garbage can in your house
and every day you throw garbage into the can,
eventually the garbage can will fill up and you will not
be able to close it with a lid and then the next thing
you know -you have flies, maggots, roaches and rats!!
That’s disgusting!
Now, you can do one of two things:
You can poison the pests and spray the bugs, but in
no time they will come back. If you want to get rid of
the pests what you need to do is empty and clean the
garbage can. It’s the same in our bodies! If you have some
dis-ease and you are trying to cover it up with antibiotics,
steroids and over the counter medicine, it’s just not going to work!
You need to change your internal environment.

I Wish all of you a Happy New YearsI got a call this morning from John who was bummed out.He was complaining that he had to work today and when on and on on how it was unfair.
So John I am sending out this blog to let you know what the true meaning of work isand how I feel about work, by the way I am at the office working and having fun.
When I was a small boy growing up in Detroit my father would come home every night after work around 6:30 and before dinner he would play with my brother and me before doing anything else.
We would beg him to stand on his head andDad who was in good shape would do a head stand for us. He loved to stand on his head like a yogi right in the middle of the livingroom.
Every time he did this, coins would fall from his pockets.
My brother and I would scurry around and grab as much loose change as we could while my father pretended to protest, “give me back my money” from his inverted position.
In truth it was as much fun for him as it was for us.
My father was the youngest of a family of eight and being the baby of that family was always having fun with siblings even into adulthood.
Life for him was about play and having fun.
Dad successfully instilled this outlook of life onto me and my brother.
Even when we would go with him to work in downtown Detroit we had fun, maybe even the most fun of all.
The word work and the drudgery that goes along with it never made any sense to me or my brother because of this.
People hate to work but they use this word for stuff that isn’t even work. Did you ever notice that everywhere it does get used people are really serious.
Serious people in the gym are Working Out.For serious training you go to a Workshop.When you’re serious about beauty you call it a Work of art. If you’re serious about your Work they say you have Work ethic. Some even practice Spiritual Work.
I’ve done my best to work and be conscious over the years,I really have, but most of the time I can’t help butconsider how much fun I’m having.
If I’m not having fun or moving to a higher level of “fun”in the sense of being able to contribute; making a difference; learning; growing and to feel that I am part of a successful group that is making a difference in the world, it’s usually not fun and I amnot doing it or at least not for long.
What I’ve learned is that you can’t push other people to work they are either workersor not, but you can make it rewarding and Fun.This gets you and others to be much more protective. Everyone loves to have Fun.
Sometimes it’s just a matter of reminding ourselves that we’re having fun.
Try it.
There are many situations that are supposed to be fun that we often add tension to and they instantlybecome serious situations or work.
At these times simply say aloud “This is fun”.
You’ll either break the tension in the room or you’ll actually change the orientation of yourself and others from one of seriousness to one of FUN.

Yesterday, I just took the day to chill out
after the holiday.

On Christmas Day, many people confuse shortness of breath or
chest pains with indigestion from drinking and overeating.
On most days you would play it safe and go to the hospital.
But it’s just a annoyance around the holidays so we wait

It’s not often you get to be a hero
and get a reward for it but today I did.
It started yesterday when I was on the pier
watching a duck fishing for his breakfast or at
least it looked like a duck to me. He was
swimming in the ocean and dove down only to
come up 2 or 3 minutes later a hundred or so feet
away and then dive again. I watched him as I did my
Qi Gong practice and found him quite interesting to watch.
This morning as usual I was back on the beach and training.
When I looked over the sand I saw the same bird but this
time he was lying in the sand looking around but not moving
his body at all. When I came up close he just laid there and he
even let me touch him, which is really unusual for a wild bird.
I called 911 and they connected me to the local police and in
about ten minutes an officer arrived in a scout car in full gear
- a pistol, extra bullets, taser gun and handcuffs.
I asked him if
he had gloves or a box or a cage to help the bird and he didn’t.
We all stood there for a few minutes discussing how we were
going to help our feather friend out. Finally I decided to take my
towel and put it over the bird to put him in the back of the squad car.
The cop agreed and all I lost was my towel. The officer said he
would take him to animal rescue and thanked me for the help.
I jokingly asked him if I get a reward, or a badge for saving the bird.
He laughed and before he drove away he gave me a police
belt buckle and shook my hand.
When you train internally everyday there are so many
advantages that happen to your body, mind and spirit.
