Sleep, Stress and your Digestion system

March 3rd, 2011

Today I suggested to Mary that she starts a
regular exercise program.
Although she looked at me like I was nuts,
she thought it was a good idea.

She asked me, what would be the best time
to exercise and I told her the first thing
in the morning. She said,
“I can’t get up in the morning and I always
wakes up tired.” I asked her what time she
goes to sleep and she told me
2:30 to 3:30 in the morning almost every day.

Mary said.” That’s the only time I can get
anything done -the time when my kids are
asleep and so is my husband.”

Mary went on to say that she has no energy
throughout the day and even though she is
in her early thirties she feels exhausted most
of the time.

This is a special weekend for her because
it’s her husbands birthday and her best
friend’s wedding and she said,
“I can’t wait until it’s all over,
this is going to be a weekend
from Hell.”

Well Mary, quite contrary you are
stressing out your system to the max.

She is going against the golden rules
of having good health.
In Chinese medicine, Yin is night and
Yang is day.

When your sleeping patterns are not in
flow with the natural flow of Yin and Yang you,
are asking for a big upset in your health
mentally, physically and spiritually.

When I was younger, I spent hours
practicing the Martial Arts.
One of the most valuable lessons I
learned was to duck.
If you can duck and avoid the hit,
it makes no difference if a punch or kick,
comes at you at a thousand miles per hour.

If there is no contact you’re cool.
Just like a car or a train, if it
doesn’t hit –you’re okay.

Now, when it comes to being in flow,
you are either in flow or out of flow.
Sleep is very important for your
overall health.

When you sleep too much or too little
you can upset the natural balance.

Believe it or not, improper sleep can
make your entire system toxic,
just like food, water and the air
you breathe.

For the most part, our body processes
things and pulls it out through
the skin, liver, kidneys and lower
intestinal tract.

The problem is that when we get blocked up,
the toxins accumulate in our cells,
blood, tissues and organs.
When they are stored for any length of time
all kinds of health problems rear their ugly
heads.

I hear complaints from patients all of the time.
Things like I have a headache, indigestion,
fatigue, to they can’t fall asleep or loss
of sleep and weight gain.
They are mostly due to a build up and
reabsorb of toxins.

When You Don’t Follow the “Golden Rules” of Health,
You Start To
Break Down The System and Illness
Is Bound To Follow.

That’s when a detox program can save you
from getting sick.
It’s a pre-cursor to longevity.

Detox is short for detoxification and
involves the removing of toxic
substances from your body.

As we age, our bodies are exposed to
so many toxins that our natural
fight mechanism breaks down –
and we experience some form of
dis-ease.

There is a product that I have been
recommending to my patients and
hundreds of them are getting great
results.

It’s called Oxy-hydrate by Qi Essentials.
It oxygenates your body as it detoxes.
Oxy-hydrate magnesium peroxide compound
contains detoxification properties.

A Natural detoxifier Oxy- hydrate works
with nature’s own powerful detoxifiers—oxygen
and minerals —to create the perfect
detoxification.
When your clear of toxins your stress
melts away.

Oxy-hydrate actions quickly aid in the
eradication of harmful substances from
the body. Helping to end stress.

The innovative formula helps put needed
moisture into the Intestine.
It provides superior cleaning ability,
yet it is safe and gentle on all systems.

If you are stressed, blocked up and have
low energy Oxy-hydrate is for you.

The Most Powerful day of the Year

June 21st, 2010

Today is the summer Solstice the longest day of the year
filled with abundant energy and lots of sunshine.
It’s in the nineties in South Florida that’s why
I start my training at 5:30 in the morning.
It’s still cool and there was a nice breeze
coming off the ocean. Summer is about growth,
creativity, expansion and staying active.
This is a time when our bodies go through
maximum activities, so expect lots of heat
inside and out. To stay healthy this summer,
keep your priorities in maintaining your heart,
mind and spirit in top shape, which are all part
of the fire element.

If the heart is in harmony, the taste buds in our
tongue works efficiently. It’s important to have
tongue cleaning as part of your hygiene regiment,
if you aren’t doing tongue scraping start today.

You may be asking your self what’s

The Purpose of Tongue Cleaning
By removing the soft plaque from the tongue you are
removing most of the bacteria and other garbage
that are the primary source of bad breath,
hard plaque (tartar) and tooth decay.
You can pick up a tongue scraper at the health
food store or a spoon will work just fine.

 “The supernatural forces of summer
create heat in the Heavens
and  fire on Earth;
they create the heart
and the pulse within the body…
the red color, the tongue,
and the ability to express laughter…
they create the bitter flavor,
and the emotions of
happiness and joy”.

-THE YELLOW EMPEROR’S CLASSIC OF INTERNAL MEDICINE
June 21st. is when the sun reaches its highest point,
the day with the greatest number of daylight hours
and the shortest night of the year. Soon after,
 the days will get shorter.

In Chinese medicine, summer is associated with
the Fire element and with heat.
The heart is the fire element of the body and
if there is too much heat in the heart,
the heat will rise and eventually disrupt the mind.
To have a balanced mind, do more Yin type exercises
like the Qi Gong Yin Set found in the back of the
book of the Recharging Qi Gong Program

http://www.rechargingqigong.com/recharging-qi-gong.html

and the Healing Sounds, they will keep you cool all summer
and benefit the heart

When the change of the season happens, especially during
the winter and summer solstice, is an opportunity to reset
your internal clock. The summer solstice is called the
Midsummer because it’s around the middle of the growing season,
a period of abundant growth. So wake early and seek the
sun for nourishment to thrive just as the plants and trees do.

This is the perfect time to a detox program
