Worship a Furry Rat Day

Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010

Today is the 2nd of February, Groundhog Day. A day when people from all walks of life converge on the small town of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania to see what a large Groundhog will predict.

Now how strange is that?

Folklore has it that if the groundhog a large furry rodent comes out of it’s hole looks around and sees his shadow, old man winter will keep his clutches on and the cold weather for six more weeks in the United States. If he doesn’t see it, then spring will be here soon.

I was looking at the official Punxsutawney Groundhog Day website and they list the tradition as being a blend of ancient Christian and Roman customs. Every February thousands of people come out freezing their asses off waiting in the cold to worship a furry rat. They used to pull that little sucker out of his burrow, and eat him. Lucky for the groundhog they changed the rules or he would be stew tonight.

In the news this morning the little dude, that they named Phil saw his shadow and winter will hold its grip on us a little longer.

I was reflecting on this tradition and found it strange that people believe this is a judge or prediction of what’s to come and they doubt if Chinese medicine really works.

Did you know that acupuncture is the most used medical treatment in the world?

It’s a proven form of medicine that is thousands of years old that works for:

Migraine

Pain Management

Stress

Dermatological

Mental Emotional

Eyes Ears Nose and Throat

Infections

Muscular Skeletal and Neurological

Urinary and Reproductive

The list goes on and on and yet people are always asking if acupuncture and Medical

Qi Gong  works.

I think the real question is will it work for me?

The “ME” is the key word here. If you don’t exercise, eat a healthy diet and have bad thoughts running through your mind most of the day, you will experience some form of dis-ease sooner or later.

Many of these mental emotional problems comes from Worry, Struggle and Blame they are known as the three poisons in the Buddhist system. These emotions keep us stuck and although the physical form is important preoccupation with personal health and well-being is not in itself, spiritual fulfillment. That’s something we all need for our growth. I am not talking about religion but internal growth.

The reason I started the website, the blog, the classes and workshops and the different products is to bring the message of health, and spiritual growth to you.

Every week I add new info to the website www.Rechargingqigong.com , to the blog and now I am on  You Tube http://www.youtube.com/drwudhi.

But, If you want the top-secret information it is only given to the members of the www.Qigongcircle.com

It is truly high-level info that I always reserve for those who train with me month-in and month-out.

I receive emails daily asking me for info on Internal Exercise, Diet, Meditation and Health and Spiritual practices from men and women all over the world, and these well-meaning people want me to give them all sorts of advice.

I have been busting my behind to keep up with all the requests and I truly would love to continue to do this, but with a full medical practice, writing, teaching and making CD’s and DVD’s my days are full.

I realized I had better develop a different map – otherwise I was going to dump the baby out with the bath water and sacrifice my own health and well being.

So I found a way to separate the doer’s from the non DOERS by creating  the Qigong inner circle – a “members only” program where YOU can get access to me and have me answer your questions and send you the real goods.

As well as that, you will be on the monthly conference calls and receive the members only teachings on DVD’s every month.

Now the monthly fee for joining the Qigong Inner Circle is just $29.95 US. per month (automatically billed to your credit card every 30 days but cancelable and refundable at any time after the test-drive if you’re not pleased).

You can still join as a trial member for just $1.00 for a limited time. Soon the membership will be going up to $39.95 a month.

Say “YES” to a one-month test drive now and we’ll send out the DVD along with the free gift.

And if for any reason you don’t find the program to your taste, just let me know and we’ll remove you from the Qigong Inner Circle so that there are no more charges.

So jump on this one today, my friend. You’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Important: this offer expires very soon. Maybe later today. Act NOW!

DSC_045221 degrees in Florida this morning and that’s
a record breaker. Miami Beach is warmer 29 but with that breeze coming off the ocean its dam cool at my house.

Never the less I was up early walked down to
the beach and did my TRAINING AS USUAL.
The Recharging Qi Gong exercises increases power,
warms the kidneys and gives you more sexual strength
and if one gets all that, who wouldn’t want to train.
www.rechargingqigong.com

“He who fails to train, Trains to fail”.

According to traditional Chinese medicine, the kidneys
are responsible for our growth, development, reproduction,
bone marrow production, temperature regulation, the
function of brain and spinal cord, controls the strength
of bones, and fluid metabolism. If your kidneys are deficient
you could have signs and symptoms which will include:

Exhaustion, feeling cold all the time, swollen face,
swollen extremities, memory loss, hair loss, hearing
problems, decreased sexual drive, brittle bones,
teeth problems, sore back and knees, frequent pale
urination, incontinence, high blood pressure, low
sperm count, infertility, hypothyroidism, asthma,
impotence, difficult bowel movements.
You can see why the kidneys are so important to keep strong.
One of the keys to longevity is to keep the kidneys strong.

I have been telling you about Shou Wu Chih in my blog.
You know the Chinese tonic to keep your kidneys warm.

(Look at November 19th, 2009
“Keeping the Kidneys warm all winter”
www.Drwudhi.com

I have been drink it since late fall to prepare my system
for the cold and keep my energy at its best.

A few days ago when I heard that the artic freeze was
coming my way, I got all the goodies ready to make a
tonifying ginseng chicken soup.
Here is the formula,Enjoy!

Ingredients
1 small black chicken
(you can find a black chicken at the
Chinese grocery store)
5 slices of ginger about the size of a quarter
and ¼ of an inch thick
3 or 4 Tsp. Shou Wu Chih
10 Chinese red dates
1 pieces of dried ginger
2 or 3 pieces of garlic
½ package of the thin ginseng root
(they look like thick twigs and come
with a string around them)

Seasonings:
2 tsp sea salt
5 tbsp rice wine
A splash of sesame seed oil

Directions:
1. Wash and clean the black chicken
( I soak the chicken in salt water
for a few hours to pull out toxins)
2. Peel the ginger and garlic
3. Rinse the ginseng root, and red dates
4. Place the black chicken in a large pot
and add the ginseng root, Shou Wu Chih,
red dates, ginger and garlic.
Add enough water to cover the ingredients.
5. Bring the pot of water to a hardy boil.
6. Lower to low heat and simmer the soup for
 about 2 hours
7. Remove from heat and add the seasonings before serving

Today I had 3 bowels already and I’ll have another one
for dinner. Yum!

My entire body is warm. I Train Hard and I am Chocked
 full of energy.

Keep training Hard!

The Magic of Winter Intenal Qi Gong

Sunday, December 20th, 2009

Last night I came home after sundown and the whole
house was completely dark.
Instead of turning on the lights I lit a candle.
I never do this sort of thing but the house seemed
so quiet and peaceful I wanted to just sit and open
to the quietness.

I spent the majority of the night in contemplative
meditation. We are in the Winter Solstice and it is
an excellent time to take time to be quiet and reflect
on the past year.
I recommend doing this for yourself as a matter of
self-cultivation.
With all the crazy energy around the holidays and
year-end you want to make sure that you cool-out
and recollect yourself before you burn-out.
Once you do I think you will find that the rush of
the holidays and year-end quiets down and you can
refocus on those things that are most important.

In Chinese medicine Winter is associated with the
element Water. Water energy has the attributes of:
•Cold
•Damp
•Quiet
•Stillness
•Calmness
•Smoothness
•Listening
•The Kidney organ and meridian

This energy is available in the atmosphere
throughout the winter. Just slow down,
sit quietly in a natural place and pull in the
atmosphere. Winter Water energy is also
associated with a special type of Awareness that,
from Chinese to English, best translates as
Alert Stillness. In the Chinese Medicine system we
use animal associations to signify these types of
energy, and as such, the animal for the water element
and organ of the Kidney is the Deer.
The Deer is chosen because it is a master of Alert
Stillness. When you think of a deer you think of an
animal that is impossible to sneak up on.
The slightest snap of a twig and the Deer has
disappeared. This is not the same type of power of
a Tiger or a Dragon but it is a type of power that
completes us.
In the Ba Gua system of Martial Arts it takes a
whole circle of animals to become a Master.
We cannot always Push, Push, Push, sometimes we
need to sit, take inventory, and listen to the
atmosphere.
This is the power in the symbol of the deer and that
is the power of this time of year.
So take advantage of this time of solstice when this
energy is most powerful and abundant, you will not be
able to tap into this energy so easily in other seasons.
Winter, not just the New Year, is the best time to set
new plans and goals into action.
Take inventory of what is happening around you.
Upon deep consideration you may see more then
before.
Clarity is not achieved when you are rushing or
being hasty.
Opening is found in reflection.

Wishing you the best in Health, Wealth and Happiness,
Dr. Wu Dhi

Is your Dr. Finished in 3 minutes?

Health care, my behind. It’s more like sickness
care at most, that is a more appropriate word
for it. In the good old USA the debate is heating
up daily.
I drove by the city county building today and
there were a hand full of people out there with
sign’s raised complaining of Obama’s health
care bill.

There is a ton of political, corporate, special
interest groups involved and chances are they are
not the least bit interested in your health.

If they were, we wouldn’t allow GMO foods,
High Fructose Corn Syrup,diet sweetners
antibiotics and hormones in our meats.
Cola’s,bacon & hot dogs filled with Nitrates,
water that you can’t drink, air pollution,
polluted rivers, lakes and oceans,
mercury in our fish and being pushed into the air.
I could go on and on, but thats enuf.

In Chinese medicine we treat the root of the problem.
The same in European biological medicine.

When you just treat the symptom you don’t cure the
problem,it’s a bandage at most.

Let’s say your house is filled with garbage you will
attract flies and rats and you can
poison and trap the pests to get them out of your
space for a moment, but they will come back if you
don’t eliminate the garbage.
That’s the root cause of the pests. The same with our
health if you have cancer, tumors, heart problems, high
blood pressure, diabetes, even bad breath or a host of
other illnesses.

If you treat the symptom alone, not the cause, you’ll
never,ever cure it.
You may be able to hide it for awhile, but it will raise
its ugly head again and may even kill you dead…

If we really want to get people well we would eliminate
the problem.

That’s the real health care cure.

Have those companies that pollute our air and water,
sell inferior foods, fill people with corn syrup and
bubbly water and sell unnecessary drugs pick up 80%
of our insurance costs out of their profits. This would
fix the health care system overnight.

If you eat fast food and don’t exercise, you will
eventually have to pay with poor health sickness.

You can keep your self in tip-top shape with just
a few changes.

•Drink clean water every day 3 quarts up to a gallon
•Stay out of fast food restaurants
•Exercise your organs and tendons daily
•Stay under 20% body fat
•Wash your hands several times a day
•Eliminate complex carbohydrates
•Do Qi Gong breathing exercises daily

Every day people come to me to learn the Qi Gong
breathing exercises and the Qi Gong organ regenerating
exercise. They want to stay young, stay or get healthy
and increase their Energy.

My practice as a doctor is just about full.
The coaching program is filling up.
I can only see a limited amount of people a day.
If your asking  Why?
I am not a doctor that finishes in 3 minutes.
I stay with my patients until we are both satisfied.
Well satisfied!

me in person, I have created a few programs to
