<p>The golden rules of having good health are diet, exercise,<br />
 drinking clean water, avoiding toxins and avoiding injury.</p>
<p>Some of the &#8220;Golden Rules&#8221; are in our power and some<br />
you have to work on dutifully, in order to achieve-<br />
mastery.<br />
When I was younger, a lot of time was spent practicing<br />
the Martial Arts.<br />
One of the most valuable lessons I learned was to duck.<br />
If you can duck and avoid the hit, it makes no difference<br />
if the punch or kick, comes at you at a thousand mph.</p>
<p>No contact you&#8217;re cool.</p>
<p>Just like a car or a train, if it doesn’t hit you you’re okay.<br />
Now, when it comes to toxins,  the story changes.<br />
The toxins can be hidden in your food, water and the air<br />
you breathe. They can be  tucked in our medicine, in the<br />
building materials our homes are made from and even our<br />
 clothing can be filled with hidden poisons.<br />
For the most part, our body processes things and pulls it<br />
out through the skin, liver, kidneys and lower intestinal<br />
tract.</p>
<p>The problem is that when we get blocked up, the toxins<br />
accumulate in our cells, blood, tissues and organs.<br />

<p>Jerold wrote  and asked me to explain to him what he can<br />
expect from doing Qi Gong and internal exercises.<br />
He said he did a weekend workshop and thought it was all some<br />
Big Hype.<br />
 He said he felt that the instructor was more filled with himself and had no real Qi.</p>
<p>Jerold, some Qi Gong masters and teachers have the real goods and others have a good<br />
intensions.<br />
 I don’t judge them but it takes more than a weekend to get the goods.</p>
<p><strong>                                                                             &#8220;Keep on Practicing&#8221;</strong></p>
<p><em>There two keys</em></p>
<p> 1. The teaching </p>
<p>2. Is the practice</p>
<p>If you don&#8217;t do both, It &#8217;s like a bird who only has one wing. It doesn&#8217;t fly half the distance, he will just flop along the ground. You need both wings to fly. </p>
<p>I have been practicing for more than 30 years.<br />
When I first learned Qi Gong, most of my friends and fellow students never really took<br />
notice of of the practice.<br />
The hard core Martial Arts people thought it was BS.</p>
<p>They looked at me like I was crazy &#8211; practicing so many hours a day and not showing any<br />
outwardly visible skills.</p>
<p>Were they wrong.</p>
<p>I have no health problems, I look at least 10 to 15  years younger than my peers and I take no medicine.</p>
<p>Why? The key is the practice.</p>
<p>  Every time I run into an old Martial arts person all they talk about is how much pain<br />
they are in, their knee injuries, shoulder injuries and how beat up their hands<br />
and feet are from breaking boards and bricks.</p>
<p>They really didn’t really get what internal exercises would have given them.<br />
