Getting ready for the water Dragon year
I started by inviting the Dragon into my home
last week. I hung up red Chinese lanterns,
bought all of the incenses, wine, and sweets and
set up the dragon fountain to honor and invite the
legendary animal in 2012. I woke up at 4:00 am to
honor the dragon energy and the new moon into my
home for good luck, health and wealth for the year.
Noodles are the traditional dish for the New Year
and I’ll cook fish for dinner. The Dragon is coated
with mysterious colors. Chinese consider that the
dragon is unpredictable, untouchable and people
cannot see its head and tail at the same time.
Therefore, we might see something unexpected
happening in 2012.
The water Dragon is an energetic year characterized
by movements and changes.
The Fung Shui experts are predicting an
increase in epidemics and health risks involving viruses.
Therefore, diet, hygiene and exercise will be very
important this year. The more responsibility you take
for your own health the better off you will be in the Dragon year.
As it’s a water dragon, pay more attention into
keeping your kidneys and bladder healthy.
There can also be stomach problems so eat healthy,
fresh and clean food. Get a good vegetable wash and
clean your fruits and veggies very well.
The water element sits on the earth element which
sounds like there will be a lot of mud stirred up.
I always urge you to practice, this year it will be the year to do so.
“Hang a metal wind chime in the South-East of
your home,”-that’s a Fung Shui protection.
We can expect more natural calamities such as
floods and earthquakes. The water element have
to do with fear on the negative side and gentleness
on the positive side, so be more gentle with yourself
and others and the year will be a lot smoother for you
and your family.
I have been spending more time working on
Yin practices like the Yin set that clears and tonifies
the internal organs. It is very gentle, calming and
works wonders on the
Lungs, Kidneys, Heart, Liver and Spleen.
You’ll find these magical exercises in the
Recharging Qi gong program.

It’s the day after Christmas, the entire house is a mess rapping
paper balled up, presents still in boxes, your
in- laws are still in your spare bedroom
and the kids are out of school for more days then wish to count.
STRESS seems to be around every intersection you turn.
Everything may seem to be a little overwhelming and you are
stressed to the max.
We all know it’s going to keep on going strong for a few
more weeks, as we are getting ready for more merriment,
until the BIG bash on New Years Eve.
It’s a time to Paying Attention to your health as well.
I bet you didn’t know that December 26 is historically one of
the most dangerous days of the year.
This time of year is infamous for heart attacks, heart failures,
and strokes.
Don’t let holiday stress kick your butt.
We all want to keep our ticker ticking as long as possible
without any glitches and although the holidays are a time to
kick back, over eat and knock back several glasses of holiday cheer
that excessive drinking can cause irregular heartbeat
and it can up your odds for a stroke.
On Christmas Day, many people confuse shortness of breath or
chest pains with indigestion from drinking and overeating.
On most days you would play it safe and go to the hospital.
But it’s just a annoyance around the holidays so we wait
and that can be a your last mistake.
In Chinese Medicine there are some Symptoms of Heart Disease
to give you a heads up before anything ever happens-
things like vertical or tangential crease on earlobes,
Horizontal crease across the bridge of the nose,
deep narrow central crack on the tongue extending to the tip.
Hear are some tips to keep your heart healthy:
• Avoid Eating – high fat, high cholesterol foods
• Pass on caffeine
• No tobacco
• Lighten up on alcohol
• Sugar is a no, no!
• Butter, red meat, fried foods, soft drinks, spicy foods,
white flour all of these can add more stress to your heart .
Eat More – fiber, raw foods, fish, turkey, chicken, garlic, and
onions, and nuts.
Doing the right Exercise can keep your heart healthy
and strong for years and years.
That’s why I practice internal exercise like Qi Gong on a daily.
You can Turn your Stress into Power and easily extend your
life for years.
It’s your anti-aging formula to keep you healthy, strong and young.
Pick your program up today and you will feel the difference
within weeks.
Friday is 11-11-11.
People are saying it’s a spiritual signal linked
to the 2012 Mayan prophecies of both doom
and spiritual renewal. Everyone has a psychological
tendency to give events like this significance.
What do you think the significance of 11-11-11 is?
Both astrologists and numerologists give important
meaning to the number 11.
Here is what they say about 11:
- It brings the gift of spiritual inheritance
- It is gifted as the “Light-Bearer”.
- It is the number of the Light within all.
- Strengthened by the love of Peace,
gentleness, sensitivity and insight.
- It is related to the energy of Oppositions
and the Balancing needed in order to achieve synthesis
- It is The Peacemaker and we could really use
a peacemaker at this time
- 11 is considered to be a Master number
11-11-11 predictions are flowing fast and furious everywhere,
like everything from the end of the world scenarios to the
ushering in of a new spiritual era.
I received at least
30 emails asking me what I am going to do.
Will I be performing special exercises?
meditations or special prayers to help harmonize the planet?
What time will I start my practice?
Will I be working with the group of students who live in Florida?
Well here’s what I am going to do:
I am going to get up at 6:00 AM.
Then I am going to the place I have been practicing
for the last few years and begin by doing the pulling
down the heavens exercise. This helps balance the
energy between heaven and earth.
Then I will go through the Recharging Qi Gong set and
follow up with the Flying Crane Qi Gong.
(Some Standing Practices and Walking
Backwards Set for at least 500 steps).
If this sounds familiar to you, it should because
these practices are my core training practices.
They are my Three Treasures of Health, Wellness
and Spiritual balance that I teach to all of my students.
If you want to bump up your training, keep your
self-young and vibrant– order the
Recharging Qi Gong and
Flying Crain Qi Gong package!
I am off to the Florida Keys for a
few days to meet up with a group of
writers and mystics. They are old friends
from Detroit and I want to have my astrology
chart looked at by one of the best
astrologers in the nation.
My birthday is coming up soon and I always
have an astrologer look at my chart to decide
where I should spend my birthday for my solar return.
Everyone experiences a Solar Return every year
around their birthday. It’s when the Sun comes to
the exact degree it was at the moment we were born.
It is a “return” to its original position. The significance
of the Solar Return is a chart for the coming year and
will help guide you. One of the most important aspects
of the chart is where you are on the planet at the time
of your solar return. Last year I was in Lake Havsue, Arizona
and I am excited to find out where I should go this year
to enhance my year in 2012.
The Keys are quiet and peaceful, a good place for
inner completion. The word Key comes from the
Spanish word cayo, which means little island.
Ponce de Leon first arrived here in the early sixteenth
century; these explorers were looking for the Fountain of Youth
but instead found money to be made in logging the great old
Mahogany trees that grew here. The Florida Keys will always
be an exotic world of tropical adventure to those who visit,
and a special tropical paradise to those who are lucky enough to stay.
You all know that I train every day and
practice what I preach. If you want to increase
your changes for a long and healthy life there
are rules that must be followed.
These are the keys to longevity:
1. Diet
2. Exercise
3. Sleep
4. Right thinking
5. Attitude
6. Service to others
7. Staying well hydrated
When I was young I was training in
wing Chun Kung Fu, aikido and hitting the
gym 5 or 6 times a week and this was long
before the exercise craze in the USA. I can
remember my brother saying to his friends
“Some talk their walk, but my brother Walks His Talk!”
Then something happened!
When I turned “33” I changed most of my
exercise from external to internal. Qi gong,
Shen Gong and Nei Gong and what happened???
I became much more powerful. My brain functioned
better, I became more flexible and even my virility
was function to its peak performance.
Students and Patients always as, “Dr. Wu,
where do you get all this energy from?”
It’s all in the Internal practices!
Of course you have to follow the Seven Rules.
Don’t delay another moment and order the
Recharging Qi Gong program now:
Attention:
Communication skills affect
all of us in all walks of life.
“Communications is the response you get.”
The information presented here will be most valuable
in changing your Karma.
Last Wednesday I shared some
real gems on communication skills
and I promised you that I would share
with you the “The Ten Linguistic Viruses.”
It is from an article written by,
Matthew Budd, M.D., and Larry Rothstein, Ed.D.
I always keep my promises.
Before I give you the goods, I have
observed from my students and patients
some gems in regards to communications.
When a student tells me that he his going
to do something and doesn’t do it, it causes
more havoc in their life than one could ever imagine.
Here is an example: I’ve known John for years,
every time I see him he says,
“Dr. Wu I am going to meet you on the
beach in the morning to train will you
call me in the morning?”
So for a few weeks I did call John early
in the morning to remind him but he always
has an excuse on why he can’t go.
Sometimes it’s about the wind being too
strong, other times it’s about no wind at
all and it’s too still for him. What makes
me laugh is the evening calls are all about
being ‘gung ho’ to train and get in shape
but the morning calls are all about excuses.
I don’t know if John really gets what he is
doing to himself; it’s costly in more ways
than one could imagine.
When you say you’re going to do something,
you are giving your word, your promise to perform.
When you don’t do it you are not only breaking
your word and your promise, you are
causing a break in your integrity.
Our body and mind likes to be congruent,
so when you are continually breaking the
commitment and promise of doing what you
say you will do then your body and mind will
naturally still strive to keep you honest.
Listed below, are the
“Ten Linguistic Viruses.”
They attack relationships, alter
the structures
of the individuals in them and cause
dissatisfaction, bad moods and
even ill health. Learning what they are
will allow you to listen to
others more effectively, and heal them
as well as yourself.
1. NOT MAKING REQUESTS.
There may be something that you
want or need from someone else, but
you don’t make a request. Why is this?
You may have a reluctance or
fear about asking others for something:
They could say no and cause
you to feel rejected. In fact, a no to a
request is just that, no to
the action of requesting, not a rejection
of the person.
Another reason people don’t make
requests is that they’re afraid
others will think they’re incompetent.
But making a request is not an
admission of weakness. The president of
the United States or the CEO
of a large corporation makes a staggering
number of requests each day.
In fact, one aspect of power is the capacity
to make powerful requests.
Still another reason people don’t make
requests is that they think a
request is an imposition. They forget that
one way that people achieve
meaning in their lives is in fulfilling the
requests of others.
A request simply invites another person to
participate in your life.
Take this as a way to honor others,
not to burden them.
2. LIVING WITH UN-COMMUNICATED EXPECTATIONS.
A common form of “not requesting”
occurs when an individual lives in
a world of expectations that are really
just unexpressed requests.
Often we have private conversations
with ourselves about what others
should and should not do. But we never
make overt requests of these
people. Subsequently, when they don’t do
what we expect, we’re
disappointed, resentful and angry.
The solution is to translate “shoulds”
into clear requests.
The benefit will be less resentment,
less anger, less guilt and more
satisfying relationships.
3. MAKING UNCLEAR REQUESTS.
A husband may say to his wife,
“I want you to support my career.”
Can you see that the husband may have a
different picture than the wife of
what “support” looks like?
What kind of support? When? All of
this information is missing. Later
on, when a minor problem arises, the
maker of the unclear request is
likely to say, “You promised to support
my career, but you didn’t!”
To coordinate your life successfully
with others, your requests must
be precise and detailed. You’re not
insulting the listener, you’re
setting up the possibility for mutual satisfaction.
It’s not enough
that you understand; the person receiving the
request must share your
understanding.
4. NOT OBSERVING THE MOOD OF YOUR REQUESTS
The mood of your utterance, as
much as your words, affects the
listener. If you’re demanding, people
might decline your requests
because they see you as arrogant and
righteous, or they might make
promises to you out of intimidation, not choice.
My high school algebra teacher
always made requests in the tone and
mood of demands. Students rarely declined
his requests, but acted
resentfully when they tried to do
what he had asked.
A suggestion: Observe the mood
produced in the listener of your
request; adjust your mood to produce
the “listening” you want.
5. PROMISING EVEN WHEN YOU
AREN’T CLEAR WHAT WAS REQUESTED.
Committing yourself when you aren’t
clear about what you’ve committed
to is foolish. Sometimes a person thinks
he knows what’s being asked
of him, so he begins an activity, such as
making a meal. But as he
goes along, his lack of clarity is revealed.
He becomes confused.
What did she really want?
What if I’m doing it wrong?
If you’re not sure what the requester
wants, clarify it with him or
her. You won’t look stupid. Rather,
you’ll be building an identity of
being committed to fulfilling his or her request.
6. NOT DECLINING REQUESTS.
Some of us say yes to every request.
We’ve been trained to please
other people, and this is made manifest
in our compliance. The problem
with this belief is that it’s destructive
for both you and others.
The yes sayers’ are often overloaded
with promises to keep. The result
is a perpetual fear of failure, which
prompted the compliance in the
first place. This vicious cycle generates
anxiety, exhaustion and
burnout.
Things aren’t much better for the people
receiving the yes sayers’
promises. They never know which
promises will be fulfilled and which
ones are in jeopardy. Over time, people
become distrustful of the yes
sayer. They think, “You just never can
be sure about him; he’s not
sincere.”
An inability to say no is not a problem
of articulation or diction,
but of an embodied tendency to have
to say yes, to be “nice” and not
to upset others. Learning to say no
requires practice for those yes
sayers who find it difficult.
7. BREAKING PROMISES WITHOUT
TAKING CARE: UNDERMINING TRUST.
When you make a promise, you’re building
expectations that you will
take action. If the promise is broken, the
person will begin to lose
trust in you and feel betrayed.
We are all human and cannot know the future.
In the process of
fulfilling a promise, things may happen that
keep you from completion.
If you simply ignore your promise, you’re
consciously betraying your
word and not taking care of the other party.
In contrast, if you
contact the requester, describe the present
problems that are keeping
you from fulfilling your promise, apologize
for the broken promise,
offer to make a new promise in a time frame
that you can guarantee and
assist with the cleaning up of any
mess that you produced.
8. TREATING ASSESSMENTS AS FACTS.
There is no truth to statements of judgment.
You can provide evidence
for what you say, but that still doesn’t
make it the truth. If we
treat assessments as truth, conflict arises.
People who hold their assessments as the
truth are generally rigid or
arrogant. They cannot stand diversity and
become angry at
differences. These people are a pain to be
around and are themselves
uneasy.
9.MAKING ASSESSMENTS
WITHOUT RIGOROUS GROUNDING.
Even though your judgments
aren’t the truth, you can make them with
rigorous “grounding” – that is, you
can say what you say based on
evidence.
People who make assessments
without rigor are viewed as flaky and full
of opinions that change like the weather.
They aren’t taken seriously
and they often suffer from insecurity and
low self-esteem. Gossip is
an especially harmful kind of assessment,
which lacks rigor and
purpose. Gossips get a false sense
of power from this activity, but
underneath they remain insecure and uneasy.
Connect your declarations with
possible plans for action for which you
are accountable, preferably to someone else.
10.MAKING FANTASY
AFFIRMATIONS AND DECLARATIONS.
When you make a fantasy affirmation
or declaration, you assume that it
will happen by itself. An example
would be declaring that you would
like to start a restaurant, even though
you don’t know anything about
cooking or how to run a business.
By contrast, a realistic affirmation or
declaration pictures a reality
that does not yet exist, but is attainable
through a series of
reasonable steps.
The 10 Linguistic Viruses not only create
ineffectiveness and friction
between people, but also produce negative
mood states, which, in turn,
threaten your well-being and health.
For instance, people who never
make requests usually don’t get what they
want in life and are often
disappointed and stuck. Such people may
have secret expectations of
others, which they never express. This also
leads to disappointment
and anger and resentment.
Inertia and anger are both negative mood
states that produce bodily changes in the
muscles, circulation, heart
and brain. People who can’t decline requests
also place their health
in jeopardy. They are often overburdened
and become exhausted, burned
out and depressed.
If language is the foundation upon which
human life is built, on which
we construct our human interactions and
even our notion of self, then
competence in language will bring you more
satisfaction, joy and
effectiveness in living.
My work with thousands of patients bears
this out. When people become aware
of their behavior in the
linguistic domain, they achieve greater
effectiveness, greater
satisfaction and a better mood.
I wish you the best in your Health,
Wealth and Happiness

Training your body, mind and spirit

This is what I teach to the members of the
Qi Gong Inner Circle.
According to the Jewish calendar, it’s now the year 5772.
That’s a lot of years and a lot of tradition, the holiday started last Wednesday night, September 28th. It’s called Rosh Hashanah, meaning “the head or first of the year.”
The next Ten Days begins with Repentance, and concludes with Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. It’s a time of introspection, forgiveness, and hope for a year in which we do better than we did in the past year.
This holiday is known for the custom of eating apples dipped in honey, symbolizing the sweetness of coming year may bring.
Rosh Hashanah is celebrated on the day when, according to tradition, the first humans were created; this is when people celebrate Rosh Hashanah as the birthday of the world and of humanity. The people from all over the world embark upon the serious task of examining their lives and repenting for any wrongs they have committed during the previous year. They are encouraged to make amends with anyone they have wronged and to make plans for improving during the coming year. It’s all about making peace in the community and striving to be a better person.
One of the traditions that I always do at this time, when the season changes from summer to fall is fasting and forgiveness for any wrongs I may have done. This tradition is in alignment with both the holiday and the season.
I fast for many reasons.
First there are millions of people all over the world fasting at this time.
It is sort of a collective consciousness of fasting because it makes it easier to do, like having waves of energy push you along making the fast easier.
Second fasting has a significant spiritual benefit. It helps to focus more on spiritual parts of our being.
The third reason is for all the health benefits.
A fast will give our system rest and help clean out toxins from our bodies.
Benefits of fasting are:
*Detoxification of the digestive system, liver and the kidneys
*Cooling of the core body temperature. This increases the bodies Growth hormones to keep you younger.
* A feeling of rejuvenation and extended life expectancy
There have been significant studies that conclude; less caloric intake will extend life.
Yes, it’s true, fasting is one of the longevity secrets. There are many reasons to consider fasting as a benefit to one’s health; the body rids itself of the toxins that have built up in our fat throughout the years. The body heals itself, and repairs all of the damaged organs during a fast. Finally there is good evidence to show that regulated fasting contributes to Longevity.
What I have found in my years of practice, is if you pay attention to your diet, do the right exercises like yoga and Qi gong and don’t hold on to the stresses in life you —you will stay disease free and live a happy life!
I wish you the best in your Health,
Wealth and Happiness.
Fall Equinox occurs at 09:04 am September 23, 2011
in the northern hemisphere, as well as the spring
or vernal equinox in the southern hemisphere.
A Greek astronomer and mathematician Hipparchus
was attributed to have discovered the equinoxes.
The word “equinox” derives from the
Latin words meaning “equal night” and
refers to the time when the sun crosses
the equator. The first day of autumn is the
time when things begin to decrease. It’s the
time to prepare for winter, tree leaves turn
colors, and the air takes on a chill. Most
cultures consider this a time for harvesting
crops and taking stock of life’s fragility. It is
also a time when people begin noticing the
waning hours of daylight in anticipation for
the Winter Solstice. Since this time of year
is one of the most temperate, it is also
considered a good time for reflection
on the meaning of life.
In every culture the Autumnal Equinox
signals the return of weather that favors
slowing down, introspection, and conservation.
It is also a perfect day to contemplate your own
thoughts on the meaning of life and share
them with fellow freethinkers.
I’ll be in Michigan for the changing of the seasons.
It’s one of my favorite times of the year as
it finally starts to cool down in South Florida,
and the windy hurricane season is just about over.
I always do some kind of ritual when the seasons
change and this is no exception. My son lives
on a beautiful piece of property on the lake
with his wife and two children. I called him
today and asked him to cut and stack wood
for the harmonizing fire Puja on the Equinox.
You may be asking yourself right now,
“Doc, what is a Puja?”
A Puji fire is a ritual fire to harmonize the
elements. Sometimes Puji’s are made to
increase the energy or to decrease it. This
particular Puja will be to balance and
protect the family through the winter season.
It’s a festive time and the neighbors usually
gather around, as well as my family to bring
in the fall season and to balance
their body, mind, and spirit.
Fall is the season of harvest, a time to pull
inward and gather together on all levels, a
time to store up fuel, food and warm clothing,
a time to study and plan for the approaching
stillness of winter. Everything in nature
contracts and moves its essence inward
and downward.
“The forces of autumn create dryness in
Heaven and metal on Earth; they create
the lung organ and the skin upon the
body…and the nose, and the white
color, and the pungent flavor…the
emotion grief, and the ability to make
a weeping sound.”
-Inner Classic
Fall is related to the Metal Element,
lungs and large intestines. The foods that
are most harmonious to this season include:
sourdough bread, sauerkraut, olives, pickles,
leeks, aduki beans, salt plums, rose hip tea,
vinegar, lemons, limes, grapefruit, and the
sour varieties of apples, plums, and grapes.
It’s a good time to focus mentally, and to
begin the process of contraction. In general,
cook with less water, and at lower heat, for
longer periods of time. This internalizes one’s
focus. Likewise, the bitter and salty flavors
move energy strongly inward and downward;
ideally, they are gradually introduced as the
fall progresses into winter.
The major symptoms of autumn are thirst,
dryness of the skin, nose, lips, and throat,
and itchiness; those who are chronologically
dry also tend to have a thin body type. This
season usually brings in the cold and flu season,
it’s an important time to start building
our immune system and strengthening
your kidneys for the winter.
To treat conditions of dryness in the body
in any season, foods which moisten can be
emphasized: soybean products, including
tofu, and soy milk; spinach, barley, millet,
pear, apple, persimmon, loquat, seaweeds,
black and white fungus, almond, pinenut,
sesame seed, honey (cooked), barley malt,
rice syrup, eggs, clam, crab, oyster, mussel,
and herring. Using a little salt in cooking
also moistens dryness.
The emotions of the metal element have to
do with sadness and grief on the negative side.
On the positive side, it has to do with moving
forward, valor, and courageousness.
Because the fall is when we start to go inward
this is the time to increase our meditation
practices and begin more internal practices.
Sometimes, our minds jump around like
a monkey from branch to branch, and
when we are trying to do our mediations,
we are pulled from one thought to another.
When this happens, I begin doing a mantra,
like the one in “The Internal Mantra Program.”
This program is a 3 fold:
1. A DVD explaining all about Mantra,
how to use it, and what it
will do for you.
2. An interview with Eluv,
who is trained and practices chanting and
Mantra.
3. A special subliminal CD
where the Mantra is repeated 100,000 times.
Every Wednesday night, I teach a meditation
class to those of you who live in south Florida.
Soon the class will be televised via the internet.
I’m really excited about this and can’t wait to
invite all of you to the FREE meditation
classes that I teach.
I wish you the best in your Health,
Wealth, and Happiness
The conference last weekend
brought up some shocking facts.
Did you know that the USA is
ranked # 50 in life expectancy?
Obesity and being Overweight
causes a multitude of serious illnesses
and close to 75% of Americans
are just too fat.
I was talking to a patient and
she was telling me that her weight
gain as well as her daughter’s all
had to do with their hormones
and nothing else.
Hormones are chemical
messengers in the body. They are
released into the blood stream in one
place, and travel to another place in
the body and provide information.
We have around 600 hormones in
our bodies. They are receiving sites and
receptor sites communicators between each other.
They are the lock and the hormone is the key.
A healthy person has 20,000 receptor sites
for the hormones to communicate too.
But most have less than 5,000 receptors.
That’s like having the key broken
in the lock.
Some of the factors that cause
the break down in communications
are in our foods, exercise and
life styles.
Things like:
-Excess hormones in animal products
- Taking birth control pills
-Pesticides sprayed on our vegetables
-Bug sprays
-Weed killers like round up/agent orange
-Plant fungus killers
-Being a couch potato or doing the wrong
exercise.
-Poor sleeping habits
-Eating the wrong foods
The animals eat the plants and their
hormones get jacked up and when
you eat them it’s passed on to you.
There is a large connection between
hormones and chronic illness.
One of the keys is in the foods we eat
and the quality of that food.
According to Merrian-Webster Dictionary,
Food is material taken into an organism and
used for growth, repair and vital processes.
It is nourishment in solid form which is
something that nourishes and sustains.
The most important organ linked to
hormone communications and fat
burning is your LIVER.
If your liver is malfunctioning, it is
IMPOSSIBLE to lose weight.
Here are some liver issues
that you could have.
Even if your blood test comes back
normal, you could still have a liver
that’s not functioning even
with a normal blood test.
-Right shoulder pain
-Morning pain in your fingers
-Hard to get up in the morning / feeling grouchy
-Always craving fatty foods
-Joint problems
-Skin problems
-Yellowing of your eyes
-Sensations of fullness on the right side
What can you do to improve
the function of your liver?
-Read labels they put things in our food
that you would never eat if you were aware
of the hidden poisons
-If it comes in a box or a can don’t eat it
-Take all artificial sweeteners out of your diet
they will make you retain water and inhibit
both the function of your liver and the brain
-If the label doesn’t say “Non GMO’s” then don’t eat it
-Eat only grass feed meat and don’t over cook it
-Get a good night sleep
-Eat 50% of your food raw
-Exercise daily both internal and external
-Get natural treatments to help repair your liver
-Eat clean foods, organic locally grown
We don’t realize that things like steroids,
cortisone, growth hormones, hormone
replacement therapy, bio-identical
hormones, birth control pills and
HCG all cause the liver to function poorly.
We were brought up to believe that the government,
the Food and Drug Administration and the Medical
community were protecting us,our food and our
medicine.
Well wake up!
If you are not taking responsibility for your
own health your in for a big shock.
The reason I teach, train and practice
daily is to give you and me tools to stay
healthy.

She was a great psychotherapist, known
especially for her approach to family
therapy.
She was regarded as
The “Mother of Family Therapy.”
When you are working with people,
(No matter if you are doing massage,
medical qi gong or acupuncture)
when you open up to new modalities
in your practice it will make you a
better doctor, healer or therapist.
One of Satir’s most novel ideas at
the time, was the “presenting issue”
or surface problem – that the presenting
issue itself was seldom the
real problem; rather, how people coped
with the issue is what created the problem.
She also offered insights into the
particular problems that self-esteem
could cause in relationships.
Whenever I work with a patient or a
student, I start with a process that
Virginia developed called:
“The Five Freedoms”.
*The freedom to see and hear what is
here, instead of what “should” be, was,
or will be.
*The freedom to say what you feel and think,
instead of what one should.
*The freedom to feel what you feel,
instead of what you “ought.”
*The freedom to ask for what you want,
instead of always waiting for permission.
*The freedom to take risks on your own
behalf, instead of choosing to be only
“secure” and not rocking the boat.
What The Five Freedoms will do
for you is open you to new possibilities
in your life and give you a way to look
at the world differently.
Applying the five freedoms in your
life can give you different twist
to think outside of the box and
free up your stresses.
In the Turn Stress into Power Program
I incorporated the Five Freedoms
in my writing and presented a new way
of looking at stress.
How to use your stresses to transform your
life and get on top of the wave of stress,
instead of being flipped, rolled and pulled
under by every day stresses.
Open up to new possibilities in
your life and order the program today.
It will transform your Stress into Power.

Today is the full moon and a Lunar eclipse.
Today is loaded with energy.
I was reading my friend Brenda Brush’s
page on what’s going on in the skies today.
Brenda is an internationally known
astrologer from South Florida.
Here is what she says will be happening
at 4:34 pm on June 15th which is
today at 24 degrees 23 minutes of Sagittarius.
This Lunar Eclipse will affect us for 6 months.
Sagittarius is the sign of expansion,
expert information,
travel, education, and religion. Both Gemini and
Sagittarius have to do with information, but Gemini
is local and Sagittarius is global. Gemini is word of
mouth and Sagittarius comes from informed sources.
It is interesting that the New Moon/Solar Eclipse on
June 1st had Mercury, the ruler, in Taurus and the
June 15th Lunar Eclipse in
Sagittarius has Jupiter, the ruler, in Taurus.
The information, no matter where it comes from, the ruler
of either eclipse is in Taurus. The knowledge we are
receiving is practical, it is about survival, and it
is about taking care of what we have.
Greed is gone.
It is not happening.
It is time to live more authentically.
It’s Time To Live Within Our Means.
We know it is the information age and we
know the eclipses are emphasizing
that, but the information that is useful to our well being
is coming from the sign Taurus.
This is practical, solid, and sustainable.
We could title this eclipse,
“Put Your Money where your Mouth is.”
A year and a half from now, the Eclipses
will move into Taurus
and Scorpio, the signs of power and money.
These current eclipses,
in the signs of information, are giving us a heads up.
It is time to get on top of things so we are coming
from a secure spot. We have the opportunity over the next
12 months to improve our financial outlook and then when
the eclipses begin to enhance those areas,
we will be prepared for more.
Thanks Brenda! – That’s good advice.
As for Qi Gong practices and Meditation work it’s
a time to open up more and get out of the way of flow.
