A Rewarding Situation

December 22nd, 2011

It’s not often you get to be a hero
and get a reward for it but today I did.
It started yesterday when I was on the pier
watching a duck fishing for his breakfast or at
least it looked like a duck to me.  He was
swimming in the ocean and dove down only to
come up 2 or 3 minutes later a hundred or so feet
away and then dive again. I watched him as I did my
Qi Gong practice and found him quite interesting to watch.

This morning as usual I was back on the beach and training.
When I looked over the sand I saw the same bird but this
time he was lying in the sand looking around but not moving
his body at all. When I came up close he just laid there and he
even let me touch him, which is really unusual for a wild bird.
I called 911 and they connected me to the local police and in
about ten minutes an officer arrived in a scout car in full gear
- a pistol, extra bullets, taser gun and handcuffs.

I asked him if
he had gloves or a box or a cage to help the bird and he didn’t.
We all stood there for a few minutes discussing how we were
going to help our feather friend out. Finally I decided to take my
towel and put it over the bird to put him in the back of the squad car.
The cop agreed and all I lost was my towel. The officer said he
would take him to animal rescue and thanked me for the help.

I jokingly asked him if I get a reward, or a badge for saving the bird.
He laughed and before he drove away he gave me a police
belt buckle and shook my hand.

When you train internally everyday there are so many
advantages that happen to your body, mind and spirit.
Let me tell you just a few:
•      Your body gets stronger
•      You become more flexible
•      Your brain functions better
•      You become more aware
•      You are more sensitive
•      All of your senses work better
•      Your sexual appetite increases
•      Your sexual power and performance increases

There are so many more advantages to doing internal
exercises that you can only experience when you get on
a program that will support you in every way.

That’s why I created the Recharging Qi Gong program

I have students and patients thanking me
every day for the changes
they have made in all aspects of their lives.
Don’t let another day go by without starting this program

The Lost Son

October 6th, 2011

“A young widower, who loved his five year old
son very much, was away on business when bandits
came and burned down the whole village and took his
son away. When the man returned, he saw the ruins and
panicked. He took the burnt corpse of an infant and cried
uncontrollably. He organized a cremation ceremony,
collected the ashes and put them in a beautiful little bag
that he always kept with him.

Soon afterwards, his real son escaped from the bandits
and found his way home. He arrived at his father’s new
cottage at midnight and knocked at the door.

The father, still grieving asked: “Who is it?”
The child answered, it is me Papa, open the door!”
But in his agitated state of mind, convinced his son
was dead, the father thought that some young boy was
making fun of him. He shouted: “Go away” and
continued to cry. After some time, the child left.
Father and son never saw each other again.

After this story, the Buddha said, “Sometime,
somewhere, you take something to be the truth.
If you cling to it so much, even when the truth comes
in person and knocks on your door, you will not open it.”
I gave a lecture last week to a group of people at the gym;
most of them work out 5 days a week and look good on the
outside, but are starting to get health problems like heartburn,
aches, diabetes and sexual dysfunctions.

I explained the longevity benefits of doing Qi Gong to
them, and how it would balance out their workout,
improve their sexual power health, and slow down the
aging process.

Arthur stood up and said,” I don’t get it? I workout
everyday at the gym, run 4 miles a day 5 days a week
and do 10 miles on the weekend, I eat well and I feel great!
What will Qi gong do for me– I am in great shape?”

Well Artthur, I did the same program for years
with my friend Gary. He was my workout partner
and never learned the internal arts of Qi Gong or
meditation. He said it was too slow for him and he
needs the adrenal rush of a heavy workout.
Gary wishes he had followed my example and
learned the softer style of Qi Gong years ago.
Although the physical workout of running and
weight training is good you need a balance.

There is an old Taoist saying:
“If you do External Exercises, you need to do
Internal Exercises, but if you do Internal Exercises
you don’t have to do External Exercises.”

When we only do sports, aerobic and weight training,
we create too much heat in our bodies and overheat
the internal organs. After awhile, the organs start to
dry out and later feel like a plum that was left in the
sun for weeks– it turns into a prune!
The same thing happens to us with constant overheating
and aging, you can see it on a person’s face –the wrinkles
are the pruning effect. You can delay the aging process and
re-dehydrate the organs by doing Qi Gong.

I told Arthur it’s time to get on a program because the
universe is knocking on your door. I know he heard
what I said and acted on it.
He placed an order for both Flying Crane Qi Gong
and the Recharging Qi Gong program that night.

Soda can Kill your Sex life

November 16th, 2009

Shirley came in for an appointment last week.
I gave her a tour around the office and the first
thing she asked was, “Doctor can you do anything
 for my back pain?”
As we sat down I asked how her energy was.
Do she sleep well?  How is your appetite and digestion?
Where is the pain?
How long has it been going on and so forth?

She told me that she was suffering from osteoporosis.
That’s a disease in which bones become fragile and
more likely to break, typically in the hip, spine,
and wrist.

It can impair a person’s ability to walk and may
cause prolonged or permanent disability or even
death.
She said that she lost two inches in height over
the years from her disease and had no idea
why this was happening.

I continued asking questions about her health
and lifestyle.

Do you ever drink soft drinks? She replied,
                            Yes I do!
Six to eight cans a day, but just diet soda.
I always watch my weight.
Right away I knew what was leaching all the
calcium out of her bones. If you think you’re
doing yourself a favor by drinking diet soda
instead of the real deal, think again.
You may be protecting your waistline,
but you are beating up your kidneys.

In Chinese medicine the main physiological
functions and indicators of the kidneys are:
•        Vitality
•        Sexual Power and Libido
•        Growth and Development
•        Controlling Metabolism
•        Receiving Qi
•        Producing Bone Marrow
•        Brain Function
•        Manufacturing blood
•        Hair Luster
•        Hearing

That’s a whole lotta stuff that you don’t
want to mess up.

If you are drinking two or more diet sodas a
day that will cause a significant dip in the
kidneys and age you quicker and cause your
sexual energy to fade.
This doesn’t mean your kidneys are safe,
however,
if you choose regular sodas. It has been
shown that if you are drinking a few cans
of the regular soda a day you are twice as
likely to suffer from early
signs of kidney disease.

I suspect it has to do with the intake
of large amounts of high fructose
corn syrup.

I suggested that she stop drinking soda
all together.
She said. “I could never do that.
I am addicted to it.”

Many of us have habits and addictions that
aren’t good
for us but there is a way to change those
nasty little habits.

I invite all of you to join me on  a FREE
conference call next week November 18,2009
at 8:00 pm EST to tell you
how to make those changes in your life
and transform your bad habits to habits
that support you, your health and
your positive growth.

At around 7:55 pm on November 18, 2009,
call this number (218) 339-4600
and when they ask you for the Access
Code dial this number in:

and you’ll be on the call.
